No Pyramid For Yahoo’s Time Capsule
Mexican officials have denied Yahoo!’s request to use the Pyramid of the Sun in order to broadcast their time capsule project into space.
While this is undoubtedly disappointing for Yahoo! (seeing how the beaming into space was the probably the second biggest component of the project) WebProNews’ David Utter has some suggestions for Yahoo now that using the Mexican pyramid has been rendered “off-limits”. Would the Luxor in Las Vegas be a suitable substitute?
Whatever they decide, I certainly hope they do more than just bury some hard drives around the Yahoo! campus. Beaming the capsule into space was, in my eyes, the biggest attraction to Yahoo!’s plan.

I really liked Valleywag’s suggestion that Yahoo use the Great Wall of China, seeing how they get along so well with the Chinese government.
