Bomb Explodes At eBay Headquarters

An explosion took place last night outside of the headquarters of eBay’s San Jose PayPal division. The explosion took place around 7:30 pm according to KRON4 News.

It was learned later that a bomb had been placed outside conference center exit. Approximately 26 employees were in the 100,000 square-foot building when the bomb exploded.

No injuries were reported in the 4-story building but the explosion shattered a window. Spokesperson for PayPay Amanda Pires said the company had not received any threats but declined to comment further.

Pires went on to say, “We believe this is an isolated incident,” she said. “We’re working closely with local authorities. We have everything under control.”

Wow, I mean, what a suprise. I really have no idea why anyone would have it in for PayPal… I mean its such a fine upstanding company!! Not like those crazy banks that have to follow laws n shit. I mean really, this is just sad, and I would never wish harm on anyone at PayPal, because they’re all innocent and they don’t deserve this. Seriously, I feel so sorry for them all, so sorry.

Yes indeed.. why would anyone want to break into PayPal, lets see!… could it have anything to do with the fact that the information of millions of credit cards are stored on PayPal systems? Can anyone say: identity theft?

I don’t believe that “bombing” is the answer, although I do think that PayPal and their parent Company need to “tighten” their belts and remember just who is writing their paychecks!

Lets see, a 100,000 square foot building and only 26 employees inside…No wonder why you can never reach them when an issue arrises, not to mention resolution.

Would Paypal and Ebay be “Laughing all the way to the BANK??”

I don’t believe that bombing or killing someone is the answer to getting problems solved, But in todays world, There’s seems to be many that feel violence is the answer! Most people today know that Big business have chanced there thoughts about customers being #1 in there successful business, which in turn makes many very anger consumers! When they have chosen big huge bank accounts over the importance of customers, We all know what happens sooner or later! Time is always on customers side when it comes to making or breaking any business! We all are there bread and butter, But in todays world of businesses, it seems most businesses have forgotten about that huge detail! Customers are the Business plain and simple!Wake up CEO’s

I have not had a problem with PayPal or any of its affiliates. I still don’t think if I had had any problems I would resolve them by bombing a building. That is just stupid and makes no sense.

Bombing is not the way to express one’s views about Paypal or their parent company ebay.
OK, we all know that ebay have the worst customer service in the world and Paypal has a policy of freezing accounts if just one customer has a dispute, but by using alternative companies to these it helps create healthy competition and dilutes the totalitarian monster.
Violence is not the answer.

Well I hope it’s a wake up call to the eBay/PayPal a.k.a. Bonnie & Clyde cartel. They stack the cards in their favor and then wonder why nobody likes us anymore??? WAKE UP, serve your customers as well as yourself.

How strange that I never heard one little snippet about this on the news. You would think this would be all over the headlines. oops it is an election day and finding out who won what is more important i suppose.
Paypal sure has alot of complaints against it on net sites and blogs. bombs are not exactly a good answer to a problem. I wonder if an employee or ex is involved?

I saw this article while looking for a real contact person from eBay (probably hopeless).
Interestingly another company now owned by eBay is going down the same path as others under eBay. That company is Skype. Trying to get support from Skype has degraded 100% since it’s takeover by Skype. It’s really too bad. I liked the product, but the stress ain’t worth it. Good support was in a sense what made it good, and now it’s gone.

A highly recommended site is elfingo.com for online auctions. They are the new ebay. Many smaller sites like this offer buyers far better deals than ebay ever could. Buyser also save a ton because this site charges little or nothing depending on the day. One more reaso I like elfingo.com is because they don’t take a part of the sale at all. No commissions or final value fees. A+++ elfingo.com
