After hours data returns to Google and Yahoo

Both Yahoo Finance and Google Finance dropped their after-hours quotes due to the costs of obtaining and providing that information.

The two search giants and several other companies complained to the SEC when the Big Board started talking about price increases. Each company had withdrawn after-hours quotes from their sites for a period of time, and Yahoo still has not returned real-time stock prices to their Finance presence.

Now the off-hours data has returned on both sites, called Pre-Market instead of After Hours. Maybe this will lead to everyone finding a fair price for real time information and getting it online as well.
