SEO: The Game

The folks over at GSINC have created what is — as far as I know — the first SEO video game. It’s basically just a little Flash Boxing game where you are pitted against the likes of ‘Hidden Text Kid’, ‘Cloaking Monster’ and a few other cleverly named SEO nogoodniks. The ring announcer bears a striking resemblance Mr. Cutts from Google.

I breezed thru the first 4 opponents; Hidden Text Kid, Keyword Stuffer, Duplicate Content Girl and the Cloaking Monster. However, Mr. Redirect beat me to a pulp. He’s a shifty one and he has a mean uppercut to boot.

I have demanded a rematch, but I haven’t heard back from his people yet.

If you have a few minutes to kill, you should give it a go.

[..]If you beat all the opponents you are rewarded by winning the search engine cup at the end of the game.[..] :)
